In summer 2023, our creative, clever, stylish, smart, and beautiful Kathryn was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor. Her tumor was large and fast growing and required invasive brain surgery followed by radiation and chemotherapy to remove it.  While she has had to undergo a significant and difficult treatment journey, she has been incredibly lucky to have a world-renowned surgeon and the best care team possible at M.D. Anderson and Texas Children’s Hospital.

Kathryn's Krewe was created by friends of Kathryn's family to offer a way to support the family throughout her treatment. Kathryn and her family are so grateful to her school community, family, friends and neighbors who have been so supportive along the way.  Now Kathryn's family would like to ask Kathryn's Krewe to help them give back to the non-profit organizations that have been there to support them throughout their journey.  Unfortunately, until there is much more research on childhood cancer, many families will have to endure what Kathryn and her family has and Kathryn's Krewe will be there to pay it forward and support them.

We are so grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support.

With love and gratitude,

Kathryn’s Krewe
